Conference Hotel Details:

The 2009 TABA conference will be held at Scarritt Bennett adjacent to Vanderbilt University’s Peabody Campus on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24. This location conveniently offers our conference attendees overnight accommodations on campus and meals at very reasonable rates. Scarritt Bennett offers free parking on campus directly adjacent to the meeting site and is very close to several restaurants and convenience stores.

Scarritt Bennett offers dorm-style rooms that are either standard ($54.36, including tax) or upgraded ($73.96, including tax). The upgraded rooms include high-speed internet (you need to bring an Ethernet cord because it is not wireless) and cable television but the standard rooms do not include either of those options. Both room types have semi-private baths and a twin bed.  

 

Scarritt Bennett also offers catered meals on the campus for which conference attendees can purchase tickets in advance. TABA will arrange these meal accommodations with Scarritt Bennett on your behalf but we are required to have at least 10 people per meal with a 14-day advanced notice. TABA will provide this information to conference attendees and request that you send in your money for meal tickets when you register for the conference.
